A home with a history

With a glimpse of the Mediterranean Sea, Le Pouffre is a former Italian fisherman’s house, built at the end of the 19th century by sailors who emigrated from the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Located in the oldest neighbourhood of Sète, once a gathering place for jousters, this area is now a haven for artists, with charming workshops scattered throughout, along with churches and museums steeped in history.

The house accommodates 4 people, as well as a child or a baby. Ideally located just steps from the town centre, restaurants, and the beach, it offers a perfect spot to fully enjoy Sète.

Our little fisherman's house rises over three levels, full of charm and character, and is fully equipped for your stay.

Fitted kitchen

Senso coffee machines, filter and Italian espresso makers, kettle, toaster, microwave... all the essentials for a convenient stay.

Two doubled bedrooms

The bedrooms, located on the first and second floors, are furnished with double beds (140×190), and bed linens and towels are supplied.

Entertainment

Flat-screen TV, Google TV Chromecast with BBC iplayer, itvx, Channel 4 and more, DVD player, satellite TV and games… everything you need to relax.

Walk-in shower

Bathroom with toilet, walk-in shower, sink, foldable drying rack and a window.

Fast-speed broadband

Enjoy free high-speed broadband Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Air conditioning

Stay cool with the portable air conditioning unit in the living room and fans.

Baby equipment

We provide a travel crib with mattress and sheets, as well as a high chair.

Airport: 41 km from Montpellier Airport, 36 km from Béziers Airport.

Parking: Parking is free on the streets around the house, at Place de l’Hospitalat, near the Paul Valéry Museum, and along the Chemin de Cimitière Marin.
